Purpose - To analyze the pattern of an earthquake in north India
Good evening everyone,
I'm Ankit, and today we are going to discuss the earthquake in north India. So, let's move behind in our past, 3 years ago. We faced lots of earthquakes in our past. Some of them were very dangerous which destroyed houses, hospitals, offices, and many lives as well. That moments were very painful. Many families lost their family members and many of them had suffered from major injuries.
An analysis of the earthquakes which occurred in north India(in and around Delhi) in the last 3 years did not show any definite pattern in the frequency of quakes. According to records, during 3 months(12 April to 2 July), there are four earthquakes in the range of 3.3 to 4.7 and 13 other smaller earthquakes, including aftershocks.
A total of 745 earthquakes have been recorded by the National Seismological Network, including 26 such events in the National Capital Region(NCR), during the last three years (September 2017 to August 2020).
So, we conclude that there is not any definite pattern that shows an increase in the earthquake. However, during the recent year, there has been improved condition and even lower magnitude events are automatically detected.
Thank you
